About

This site is dedicated to an inquiry into yoga. I often write about my own experience, but my posts are only incidentally about me. My intention is to model a seeker on the path. I assume that we share many of the same doubts and hopes and joys common to the human condition. By examining my own practice in this way I hope to stimulate the readers of the blog in the examination of their practice.
Love,
Bharat

  1. This is a sweet blog. I expected as much after reading your generous post on my own web-site. I do a lot of first-person writing, but my experiences “are only incidently about me.” I’m just a specimen. I’m just a specimen of White Man in the Kali Yuga. I don’t want to start a polemic, because your site is about the centrifugal force that pulls an adept into the peaceful eye of the hurricane. My site is all about the centripedal force that yanks an average numbskull outward into the fray. But my gambit, as an artist and writer, will not work unless I’ve got a counter-current going inwards to the sweet-spot. So your particular school, with its emphasis on repair, isn’t in opposition to my school with its emphasis on destruction. They are complementary. And I wish you the very best.

  2. I am looking forward to exploring this blog and your posts. Like you, I view my journey as a path–a very curvy one, which unnerves and frustrates some of my more straight-and-narrow friends 🙂 I love the poetry I’ve seen so far. Thank you for sharing your journey along the path with us.
