To state the obvious, humanity has a ways to go. But we have great teachers who set an example. Some are living now and some are from our past. And we have people among us, though they might go unnoticed, who are naturally at peace and have few illusions. We pay attention and keep at it.
Apparently so. The state of our nation and of our world is difficult. And a great many suffer and are fearful because of it. We can pray for progress toward the humane, and we should. When it comes down to it though, the work is within, isn’t it. There’s no escaping that. But we try to by locating our problems in others. That’s the first illusion that has to fall. Peace, my friend.
